JENNI GAISBAUER, CFRE

Executive Director

A non-profit fundraising executive, Jenni has more than 16 years of extensive experience in strategic planning, major gifts, campaigns and planned giving, donor cultivation and stewardship, corporate and foundation relations, special events, board development, and community partnerships.

In 2013, Jenni joined the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library Foundation as the first Executive Director of the organization, establishing and implementing the overall strategy and business plan. During the first year at the Library Foundation, Jenni led her team to exceed their $1 million goal and created Verse & Vino, a new signature fundraising literary event featuring five New York Times bestselling authors.

Previously, Jenni served as the Senior Vice President of Development at Levine Museum of the New South for nine years, where she secured more than $15 million in contributed giving from individuals, corporations and foundations.

Jenni earned her Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) credentials in 2008 and recently graduated from the American Leadership Forum. She currently serves on the board of the Community Building Initiative. In the past, Jenni served on the Charlotte Lesbian and Gay Fund, AFP Charlotte Chapter Board and Girls on the Run International.

Jenni was honored as the 2015 Fundraising Executive of the Year by Association of Fundraising Professionals, Charlotte Chapter. Jenni earned her bachelor’s degree from University of Montana and master’s degree from The Ohio State University.
