TELEIA WHITE

Director of Individual Giving

Teleia brings over 15 years of fundraising experience and extensive experience in managing campaigns, major gifts, annual giving, and database management.

Before joining the Library Foundation, Teleia served as Senior Director of Development at Winthrop University where she worked with major and planned giving donors. She was an integral part of Distinction: a Campaign for Winthrop, which achieved its $50 million goal. In her final ten months at Winthrop, she surpassed her annual $500,000 individual fundraising goal.

Teleia is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), and was a founder of the Carolinas Annual Fund Conference (CAFC). She served as the Council for Advancement and Support of Education III judging coordinator for 2007-08, roundtable co-chair (2008-09). Teleia also served as the Carolinas Annual Fund Conference organizer for 2003, 2008 and 2015 and was a past presenter.

Prior to joining the Library Foundation Teleia worked in alumni relations, admissions, and development at three institutions of higher education. She received her bachelor’s degree from Salem College.
