Friends! In honor of my milestone birthday, I hope you will consider making a donation to the CommonSpark campaign benefitting the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library system.
Your donation will be used to provide capital support for:
- a new Main Library in uptown Charlotte,
- a Support Services Center for back office operations,
- systemwide technology, innovation and programming,
- an endowment for the future, and
- annual Library operating support.
When it opens in Winter 2025, the new Main Library (featured in the image above) will be a tech-forward, civic destination, hub of collaboration equipped to meet evolving community needs, and gateway to a reimagined North Tryon Street corridor.
As a member of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library Board of Trustees, I hope you will give generously to support the Common Spark campaign with confidence that your dollars will be utilized in the most efficient manner to deliver on this vision.
