North County Regional Library’s Around the World in 21 Branches Event

We are circumnavigating Mecklenburg County, touching down at each and every Library location along the way. Inspired by the Jules Verne’s novel and generously sponsored by Lowe’s, the Library Foundation is bringing the CommonSpark to your neighborhood branch. While we’re there we’ll celebrate what makes your local Library unique — casting a well-deserved spotlight on each location as an authentic reflection and enthusiastic advocate of the community that surrounds it.

The North County Regional event on Saturday, May 6 from 11 am to 2 pm will feature:

A conversation and book signing with New York Times bestselling author Megan Miranda featuring her new novel The Only Survivors — program begins at 11:30 am!

Artist DeNeer tha Great will lead visitors on a community mural

Empire Screen Printers will be on-site with DIY screen printing — make yourself a t-shirt or tote souvenir
