Hello, Friends!
We are having a very busy February at the Library.
Yesterday we celebrated Fifth Third Bank’s generous two-year commitment to MoLi with a ribbon cutting at First Baptist Church West. This morning, we are marking the opening of the brand-new University City Regional Library with another ribbon cutting with community leaders and Library staff. I hope you’ll join me tomorrow at the grand opening of the branch for a special family storytime with Mother Minter, a 360 photo booth, and an artist talk with Anne Lemanski, the creator of the centerpiece of the new Library — Stella Terra.
We’ve also launched our third season of Book Club Madness. It’s a fun, free way to inspire your book club and rediscover the myriad treasures at your Library. Visit our website to learn more and while you’re there, REGISTER! (Did I mention… it’s free! It’s fun! And we’ve got a lot of new prizes this year.)
And we’re not stopping there. Next week we will be celebrating an important milestone of new Main Library with Rodgers and a Topping Out ceremony, a builders’ rite held when the final beam is placed at the top during its construction. Then Saturday, February 15, the Library is featuring everyone’s favorite Regency romance author Julia Quinn discussing her insanely popular Bridgerton series. The event is full, but you can still jump on the waiting list.
March = Community Read! Join the Library and local readers as we explore the theme “Art is…” with signature title Portrait of A Thief by Grace D. Li. This year we’re collaborating with the Mint Museum with live performances and tours. Your gifts to the Library Foundation help support this initiative.
As always thank you for your support of the Library. You are a key part of building and strengthening our community.
Warm regards,

Jenni Gaisbauer, CFRE
Executive Director
