I became a monthly contributor to the Library Foundation after working closely with the Foundation team during the Blueprint process. I was really enamored and fascinated with the level of knowledge this team possesses in terms of philanthropy and giving. Their reach in the community is also impressive. I understood almost immediately that the Foundation team consists of really smart people, who make wise decisions with Foundation contributions.

I believe in what the Library does for the citizens of Mecklenburg County. I see the impact that the Library has on our community. And as a Library employee, it led me to see the importance of the Foundation’s advocacy throughout the community as well. They have tapped into an array of resources that enable us to do what we do every day. My love for our community and our Library enable me to donate to the Foundation without hesitation. The Foundation has become an essential resource for Charlotte Mecklenburg Library!
