I was asked to share with all of you why I choose to give to the Library Foundation with a recurring monthly gift.  As a long-time library employee, I have had the opportunity to work at Morrison Regional, Main Library – Readers’ Services, and currently at the Mint Hill Community Branch.  Each of these locations has something special to offer to their communities-a special exhibit of art for the public to view for free; Adult Sensory programs; Adult, Teen and Children’s outreach; programs for homeschoolers and so many more.  I choose to give wherever the need is greatest so the Foundation can allocate the funds.  Donating during the Staff Campaign is a great opportunity to reevaluate what is important to me as a member of the community, as well as an employee of the Library.   I filled out the page online – it is super easy to give!
