The Update for March 22, 2024

Hello —

Our lives get busy, and we all need spaces beyond home and work where we can come together, connect, and engage with others. Our Library serves as precisely that: a vital third place that enriches the fabric of our community.

Whether you’re seeking a quiet corner to work or read, attending a program to help with tax prep, participating in a community crafting workshop, or simply picking up that stack of bestsellers you’ve been waiting for, the Library welcomes all its neighbors. It’s a hub of learning, creativity, and social interaction that fosters a sense of belonging that we all deeply need these days.

As our Library supporters, you play a crucial role in sustaining this invaluable community resource. Your gifts, advocacy, and enthusiasm help ensure that our Library continues to thrive as a cherished third place for generations to come.

Library Giving Day is Wednesday, April 3. We hope you will join us in celebrating everything that the Library and its staff give to our lives, our beloved third place.

With gratitude,

Jenni Gaisbauer, CFRE
Executive Director

P.S. Weekend plans? Join us at Allegra Westbrooks Regional Library tomorrow for our ninth stop of the Around the World in 21 Branches tour.
