Welcome to our new Charlotte Mecklenburg Library Foundation board members Stephanie Alger, Joclyn Balanda, Rob Harrington, Patricia Johnson, Elizabeth Kiser, and Kellie Lofton
I am thrilled to extend an enthusiastic welcome to our new Charlotte Mecklenburg Library Foundation board members Stephanie Alger, Joclyn Balanda, Rob Harrington, Patricia Johnson, Elizabeth Kiser, and Kellie Lofton. Thank you for bringing your exceptional expertise, dedication, and commitment to making a positive impact in our community through the work of the Library. We are so honored to have you join us.
These talented individuals join our existing Board members, who have been instrumental in the success of the Library Foundation. Together, we will continue to work tirelessly to support our Library, promote literacy, and provide resources and programs that empower individuals of all ages.
Our next Around the World in 21 Branches festival lands on June 17 at University City Regional Library. I invite you to join us on Saturday morning at the Library. I especially want to share our exclusive look inside new Main Library with a virtual world we built just for you.
Mark your calendars, spread the word, and join us for this and the other incredible events listed below. Together, let’s celebrate the impact and importance of the Library and continue to make it a hub of inspiration, knowledge, and endless possibilities.
With gratitude,
Jenni Gaisbauer, CFRE
Executive Director
P.S. Our board transitions are always bittersweet. We send a heartfelt thank you to departing board members Jennifer Green, Jennifer DeWitt, Meredith Heimburger, Holly Stubbing, Anne Madden and Lauren Woodruff. To say you will be missed is truly an understatement.
