Marty Smith is a reporter, host and writer at ESPN, currently in his 14th year with the company. His reporting, feature pieces, interviews and writing can be found across all ESPN platforms, including College GameDay, SportsCenter, SEC Nation, ESPN Radio and ESPN.com; and across all sports and the biggest sporting events, including the College Football Playoff, the NCAA Tournament, The Masters, Kentucky Derby, Daytona 500 and Indianapolis 500. His weekly podcast, Marty Smith’s America, provides in-depth interviews from celebrities throughout the worlds of sports and entertainment.

Smith’s book, Never Settle: Sports, Family and the American Soul, is a New York Times best-seller. Smith lives in Lake Norman, NC, with his wife Lainie and their three children.
