Anne T. Madden is the senior vice president and general counsel for Honeywell, and she joined the Foundation’s board in 2021. Somehow she also finds time to read, and she’s shared her list with us!

The Four Winds, by Kristin Hannah
I just finished this book about a strong mother figure with tremendous resilience.

Untamed, by Glennon Doyle
I really appreciated this fierce example of a woman striving to be her true self.

This is How they Tell Me The World Ends: The Cyberweapons Arms Race, by Nicole Perlroth
Written by a New York Times reporter, this is a timely and terrifying account of the acts of cyberwar experienced by today’s corporations.

The XX Brain, by Dr. Lisa Mosconi
A book on females and Alzheimer’s disease, a tough issue I’m grappling with now in my own family.

Hamnet, by Maggie O’Farrell
This is the next book I’m planning to read. I was an English and American Literature major undergrad at Brown with a minor in Shakespearean literature so I’m eager to dig in!
