Final Draught with Barbara Johnson

Charlotte Mecklenburg Library Foundation welcomes Barbara Johnson to the Final Draught stage on Monday, July 17 at 6:00 pm at Town Brewing Company.

The debut author will be sharing her latest work, A Head of Cabbage: A Memoir:

Barbara Johnson felt compelled to tell her story so others may benefit from her painful experiences, failings, and triumphs. It is for this reason she writes ‘A Head of Cabbage: A Memoir’ (published by Balboa Press), the story of the everyday life struggles of a Black woman and her determination to live a life different from those of her ancestors.”

Tickets are on sale now. Her novel will be available for purchase at the event.
